Cozy staircase displays, glowing winter scenes and feedback from customers decorating for Christmas.
The fluffy snow and little warm lights completely changed the look of our stairs. The penguin is adorable in the daytime, and once the lights are on at night the whole corner feels extra cozy.
I wanted something softer than regular garland and this gave the staircase a sweet winter-scene look. The lights glow through the snow without being too bright, and the little tree makes it feel like a complete decoration.
We started with one penguin and liked the look so much that we added another pose further up the railing. Mixing the different penguins makes the staircase feel more playful instead of repeating the same decoration over and over.
I never knew what to do with the stair railing besides wrapping it in garland. This gave the space an actual focal point and made the staircase look much more finished for Christmas.
The plush penguin, snowy texture and miniature tree already look festive during the day. At night the warm glow adds another layer without changing the cozy feel of the room.
I like that the penguins do not all look identical. Each pose has its own personality, so using several together makes it look like a little snowy scene running along the staircase.
