Every year I put together Easter gifts for my family, but I wanted something they could actually keep this time. The coin is small, detailed and easy to tuck into a card or gift. I love that the Crucifixion and Resurrection are together on the same keepsake.
I expected a simple little Easter token, but there is much more detail than I thought there would be. The figures, border and colored accents make you want to turn it over and look at both sides. It feels like a small piece with a much bigger story behind it.
I bought these intending to give them away, but I ended up keeping one for myself. Mine sits beside my Bible and has become a simple reminder during quiet moments. I especially like turning it from the Cross to the Resurrection because the whole Easter message is there.
I originally wanted one for myself, but having three made much more sense once I saw them. I kept one and gave the other two to my daughter and my sister for Easter. It turned one purchase into three little reminders of the same Easter we shared together.
I was looking for a simple Easter gift that didn't feel like more candy or another decoration. This worked beautifully because it is small, easy to give and still has real meaning behind it. It is the kind of keepsake someone can put away and still remember years later.
